Rocko comes from
Australia, as his accent would indicate. Out on his own for the first time, he's bound to
make a few mistakes. And Rocko's made plenty. Some might say his first big mistake was
choosing to pal around with his friend Heffer! Rocko collects comics and works in a comic
shop. |

Heffer is the nicest
guy you'd ever want to throw out of our house. In fact, Rocko was once ready to do just
that. Heffer's a slob. He eats too much. He's fat. The fact that he's not afraid of
anything is more a matter of stupidity than a matter of bravery. |

Spunky, Rocko's
faithful mutt, isn't exactly a wonder dog. He smells. He eats garbage. He drinks his own
saliva. He also rolls around in the neighbors' salmon bushes. |

Filburt is a nerdy,
neurotic turtle who usually works behind a counter. Even though he's a basket case now, he
wasn't always that way. Filburt used to be a genius, a star athlete and a babe magnet. But
a serious case of unrequited love sent him to the nut house for a while. Now he's back,
but he's counting change for a living |

Ed Bighead is Rocko's
next door neighbor. He's also an executive at Conglom-O-Corp, the biggest company in town.
Ed's a tough toad with a terrible temper. In fact, the only thing he's afraid of is his
wife, Bev. |

|
Bev Bighead is Ed's
wife, but it's clear that she wears the pants in the family. She's loud, domineering, and
she keeps Ed in line. But beneath her ugly exterior and grating voice, she's really a
closet party animal. |
