1.Information on how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry for the Ride-o-Rama Competition.
2.There is only one method of entry for this competition.

To enter, entrants must log onto the Nick Shack at www.nickelodeon.com.au and visit the Ride-o-Rama microsite and;
A.Register their Nick Name and Password by providing the following information; First Name, Last Name, Address, State, Postcode, Date of Birth, whether they are a girl or a boy, their email address, their parents/guardians email address (optional), and whether they are a subscriber. Nickelodeon will email parents when kids register for the first time only if address is provided.
Or,
B.If the entrant has previously registered their details they are only required to enter their Nick Name and Password in order to enter the competition.
C.Entrants must then complete at least one of the games on the Ride-o-Rama microsite to receive “tokens” to access the SkillTester game. Here, entrants can use their “tokens” for their chance to enter the random draw.
3.Entry is open to kids aged 5 - 15 years as of 24 July 2006, who are Australian residents. Employees and immediate families of Nickelodeon Australia Management Pty Limited and Dreamworld and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
4.The Ride-o-Rama Competition commences on 24 July 2006 at 9:00am.
5.Entries close at 5.00pm (EST) 15 September 2006. Entries received after this closing date will not be eligible to enter.
6.The competition is a random draw and will be drawn electronically.
7.The draw will be held at the Nickelodeon Australia Management Pty Limited offices, 5 Thomas Holt Drive, North Ryde, NSW, 2113, at 12:00pm (EST) on 18 September 2006.
8.There are two major prizes to be won – the first two eligible entries drawn will each receive:
2 x Family holidays for 2 adults and 2 children (0-12 yrs inclusive) including:
Return economy class airfares from the winner’s nearest major airport
to the Gold Coast or Brisbane (If the winner resides within a 3-hour drive of
Dreamworld, airfares are not included in the prize).
2 nights accommodation in Surfers Paradise (minimum 3 star)
3 Days Standard Car Hire. (If the winner resides within a 3-hour drive of Dreamworld,
car hire is not included in the prize).

9.Prize value (1 holiday) = $6,848.00 each.
10.Total prize pool value (2 holidays) = $13,696.00.
11. The prize value listed is the maximum value of the prize. The prize winner is only entitled to the prize outlined above and is not entitled to additional prizing or cash reimbursement to compensate for any difference in actual prize redemption cost and maximum value. Selection of airline, departure and arrival destination, flight times and accommodation venue is at Dreamworld’s digression upon time of booking.
12.Travel must be taken to coincide with Nickelodeon’s Australian Kids’ Choice Awards special premiere screening at Nick Central, Dreamworld, on Saturday 14th October 2006.
13.Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner. The winner of the prize (and their travel companions) will not accrue any frequent flyer points from taking the prize.
14.The car hire vehicle will be available upon arrival at Queensland, for pick up upon arrival from the airport and drop off on departure from the airport. It is a condition that the hirer be 25 years and over, and hold a current Australian State license. Provisional licences and learners permits will not be accepted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for damage, mistreatment or ill manor to the hire car caused by the hirer. The Promoter will not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by the hirer through mistreatment, illegal behaviours, or a violation of the car hire's terms and conditions of use. The car hire only covers the day rate hire of the car, all insurance, petrol and damage costs will be the responsibility of the prize-winner. Prize winner will need to present a current credit card for security purposes upon collection of the vehicle.
15.All components of the prize must be taken together.
16.Travel Insurance is not included. Travel Prize does not include meals, spending
money or transport to and from departure and arrival points. All other ancillary
and travel costs are the winner’s responsibility.
17.All additional costs incurred whereby the prize winner wishes to make variations
to the travel are the winner’s responsibility and must be booked separately
by the winner. All travel variations are subject to approval by Dreamworld upon
booking. Travel variations include, but are not limited to extension of travel
duration, travellers outside of the age restriction and additional travellers.
18.In the event a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of prize. Validity date of this prize cannot be extended.
19.As the winner will be under the age of 18 years, the prize must be awarded at the absolute discretion of the Promoter, to their parent or legal guardian.
20.As the winner will be under 18 years of age, the winner must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 years and over.
21.No responsibility will be taken for late or lost entries.
22.Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for an item of similar value – this is subject to state legislation.
23.The Promoter reserves the right to use the winner’s name, voice, and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without additional compensation.
24.The Judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
25.All entries become the property of the Promoter and may be used for promotional purposes. By entering the competition, each entrant consents to their personal information being entered on to a database.
26.The winners will initially be notified by phone, followed by an email or letter confirming phone correspondence and prizing fulfilment next steps, by 22 September 2006.
27.Winners will be announced in the public notices of The Australian 19 October 2006. (30 days from first draw).
28.All reasonable efforts will be taken to contact prize winners. In the event of any unclaimed prizes, prizes will be distributed in accordance with directions given by relevant state authorities. A draw will be held to distribute any unclaimed prizes subject to any written directions given under Reg 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations, 1993 (SA).
29.Redraw will be held at the Nickelodeon Australia Management Pty Limited offices, 5 Thomas Holt Drive, North Ryde, NSW, 2113 at 12:00pm on 13 February 2007 (no sooner than 3 months from first draw).
30.In the event of a redraw the Prize(s) will not include exclusive tickets to a special screening of Nickelodeon’s Australian Kids’ Choice Awards 2006 at Nick Central, Dreamworld.
31.The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is or may be suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is or may be suffered or sustained, in connection with any prize, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
32.Each entrant agrees that all material submitted by them in association with this competition, and all rights, title and interest associated with that material are unconditionally and irrevocably assigned to the Promoter. Each entrant warrants that all material submitted is original and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
