The Naked Brothers Band follows a world-famous kids' rock band as they struggle with superstardom, love, friendship, a band break up, and adolescence. The series stars two real-life brothers, Nat and Alex Wolff, and is inspired by the real-life band they started in pre-school. The cameras follow Nat and Alex through their concerts, their rehearsals, and their private lives as they deal with the growing pains of having friends, having a band - and having your friends in your band.

Nicknamed 'The Girl Magnet', he sees himself as anything but, as he finds all encounters with girls daunting to say the least. His relationship with his little brother Alex is paternalistic, and he spends a lot of time caring for him, keeping him in line, and watching out for him. Nat is in fact the parental figure for everyone in his world, from his band members to his own father. Since maturity is his trademark, Nat's lapses into childish behavior with girls are all the more funny and touching.
ALEX

THOMAS
Thomas (age 11) is the band's cellist and can rock it out with the best of them, though he's known more for his fun-loving ways. He's the one most likely to do something mindless and silly and can usually be found clowning around with his partners in crime, David and Qaasim. For example, Thomas would rather have a contest to see who can fart the longest than practice for the next gig.
DAVID
Don't let the glasses fool you - David (age 11) may have a reputation as the politest member of the band but he still plays a big role in instigating many of their wacky exploits. When he's not fooling around with Thomas and Qaasim, David plays the keyboards, which he picked up in pre-school.
QAASIM
Qaasim is a virtuoso guitarist and a wild man. He's slick with the ladies but can't resist a good joke or the opportunity to be a goofball. Although Qaasim is whip smart, he first right in with Thomas and David in their crazy antics, often becoming their ringleader for some on the wildest ones.
ROSALINA
(13, bass player) is the only girl in the band. She is also beautiful, intelligent, talented and sweet, and Nat's feelings for her are hard to hide. She may even have a few of her own.
COOPER
The pint sized, manager of the band and devoted friend of Nat and Alex, 11 year old Cooper wears Swifty Lazar type glasses and tries to behave as much like an adult as he possibly can. Unfortunately, he is constantly overwhelmed by the demands of the job.
DAD
Childlike and clueless, but always well meaning, Nat and Alex's Dad, a failed accordion musician who plays at the neighborhood Rathscellar, idolizes his sons and allows them to 'rule the roost.' Hapless and fairly helpless but forever looking on the bright side of life, Nat and Alex's good natured father makes his sons feel alternately ashamed and protective of him.
JESSE
Nat and Alex's tutor/babysitter, Jesse is a sexy, none too bright twenty one year old and the stuff of Alex's (and every boys') fantasies. She inadvertently makes Alex wild with jealousy as she brings home various boyfriends, including but not limited to, all three of the Timmerman Brothers Band.
