What is the Vote Earth Campaign?

You might remember Earth Hour, the “lights out” event that gets everyone talking about climate change and what we can do about it. Well in December this year big meeting of leaders from all over the world will meet in Copenhagen for the UN Copenhagen Climate Change Conference (COP15). The leaders will talk and hopefully agree on emissions reduction targets in order to save our planet and avoid dangerous climate change.

WWF are giving kids (in other words you!) a voice on the important issue of climate change. They are asking kids from around the world to make a lantern to VOTE EARTH a “vote” for the earth instead of global warming to show leaders at COP15 that you - the future leaders and caretakers of our planet – have a BIG voice in the call for action to save our planet against dangerous climate change.
