Earth Hour Nick Heads!

This year more than 4,300 cities and towns in 126 countries celebrated Earth Hour by turning off their lights. Millions of Australians took part in Earth Hour, landmarks around the country such as the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, Perth's Kings Park, Parliament House, the National Library and Gallery in Canberra and Melbourne's Arts Centre and Crown Casino were all plunged into darkness.

Don't forget you can continue to do your bit for the planet, like not wasting electricity or wasting water or making too much rubbish. There's something everyone can do beyond the hour of darkness to help protect our world.

Together, we can all make a difference.
