Question #1:Can I submit photos that I've taken of my kids?

Answer: No. The photos have to be taken BY your kids. The only photos that should be of your kids are the SELF PORTRAITS - and even these will have to have been taken by them.

Question #2: Do I have to submit photos in all of the 6 categories?

Answer: YES! We are only going to accept photos into the competition if they are part of a COMPLETE portfolio of six photos. This gives our judges the chance to see a whole range of your kid's skills.

Question #3: Will we meet Spongbob?

Answer: YES! He will be at the award ceremony presenting prizes with Kyle & Maude, hosts on Nickelodeon's SARVO TV show.

Question #4: Can I send in photos that my Mum, Dad or my Brothers and Sisters have taken?

Answer: No! Please only send in photos that you've taken yourself. We work on a trust basis and hope that you'll respect that. If other family members want to compete they can enter themselves - it's free!

Question #5: Do I have to print out my photos and send them to you?

Answer: No! Just go to our submission page and follow the simple instructions. As long as your photos are on your computer it is a VERY easy process and as a long as your photos are clearly marked they will go straight to the judges.

Question #6: How do I get my photos under 500Kb?

Answer: Photos can be resized through the Save As function in Photoshop or PhotoShop Elements. Select Save As JPEG and then reduce the quality on the slider until the file is smaller then 500Kb. Alternatively there is Microsoft Office Picture Manager which allows you to change the dimensions of the image and amount of JPEG compression.
